Overview
Solawave sells red light therapy masks, wands and the skincare that goes with them. The store is built to turn a considered, premium purchase into a confident checkout.
Goals
The free-item picker turns a single device order into a bigger basket, which lifts average order value. Proof and a comparison table answer doubts on the product page, before they turn into drop-off. Monthly payments and HSA/FSA options make a premium device easier to say yes to at checkout. The quiz sends shoppers to the right product first, so fewer leave unsure of what to buy.
The challenge
A premium skincare device is a considered purchase. Shoppers want to see results, understand how it works and know they can send it back. The store has to answer all three on the product page, then make the second item an easy add.
Our approach
Skin quiz: A short quiz, linked from the menu and homepage, matches shoppers to the right devices and topicals for their skin concerns. Free-item picker: Add a device and a pop-up asks the shopper to choose their free item, so the buy-one-get-one offer needs no code. Cart drawer add-ons: The cart drawer lists best sellers with one-tap add buttons, from face masks down to serums and creams. Proof on the product page: Before-and-after results, independent clinician reviews and customer reviews tagged by skin type sit on each device page. Competitor comparison: A table on the product page compares the mask with named rivals on light types, LED count, treatment time and guarantee. Pay over time and HSA/FSA: Monthly payments through Affirm and HSA/FSA eligibility are shown in the buy box, next to free shipping and returns.
