Who we are
This website is run by Sarafi Growth Agency, a growth agency that works remotely with businesses in the United States (“Sarafi”, “we”, “us”). We decide how the personal information described here is used. For anything about privacy, email info@sarafigrowthagency.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, book a growth review or sign up to the newsletter, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, website, the answers you choose (such as your industry, budget range and timeline) and your message. If you email or message us directly, we receive what you send.
Information collected automatically. Like every website, our server keeps a short technical log of each request: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser used. We use it to keep the site secure and running. This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial details. Please do not include it in a message.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare for a growth review.
- To send a proposal and deliver the services you ask for.
- To send the newsletter, if you signed up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any issue or emailing us.
- To protect the website and the forms against spam and misuse.
- To keep the records that the law requires of a business.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your information because you asked us to (for example, to answer an enquiry or take steps before an agreement), because you gave your consent (for example, the newsletter), because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, or because the law requires it. Where a use rests on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are sent as an email to our own inbox. We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:
- Our hosting and email provider, Hostinger, which runs the server for this website and our mailboxes.
- The tools we use to communicate with you, such as email and phone, when you choose to contact us that way.
- Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.
When your browser loads this website, it also requests fonts from Google Fonts and a small number of icons from the jsDelivr network. Those services receive your IP address, as any website you visit does.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or process information on servers in other countries, which may be outside the country where you live. When that happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised security and data protection standards, and we share only what is needed.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply, follow up and, if you become a client, deliver the work. Client records are kept for as long as the working relationship lasts and for the period the law requires afterwards. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights. To use any of them, email info@sarafigrowthagency.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
How we keep it safe
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The forms send your details straight to our inbox and do not store them in a database on the website. Access to our inbox and client files is limited to the people who need it, and protected by passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.
Cookies
This website stores only what it needs to work, such as your choice of light or dark theme. It does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. The cookie policy has the details.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or the way we work changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
